From the stand to real spaces: Koen Van Guijze at Maison&Objet
We presented a selection of our lighting at Maison&Objet in Paris, alongside many inspiring designers and brands. It was a valuable moment to show our work in person, to meet interior professionals and to hear how they see lighting in their projects.
Our pieces grow out of simple, honest materials such as brass and steel, with a focus on tactility, proportion and a calm presence in the room. We like lighting that does not shout, but quietly becomes part of an interior over time.
On the stand, visitors could experience several designs up close, including Dice and Pétales d’or. Dice plays with a simple, almost brutal geometry, while Pétales d’or offers a softer, layered light in weathered brass. Both pieces reflect our interest in clear forms with small, carefully considered details.
If you were not able to visit Maison&Objet, or if you would like to see how our lighting works in context, we are happy to share a selection of realised projects on our website. There you will find our lamps in private homes, hospitality spaces and offices, alongside the full collection.
